From November 23 to 25, it will be among the key participants of the 2021 edition ofMECSPE, at the new location of Bologna Fiere (Viale della Fiera, 20, Bologna).
It will be an opportunity to discover all the new features of the fair, including theCOMPETENCE CENTER SQUARE,designed to provide insight into the specifics of the six Competence Centers present at MECSPE with activities focused on guidance, training, and innovative projects in the Industry 4.0 sector.
CIM4.0 will be present with a stand PAD. 21, B88 and a series of demos in the COMPETENCE CENTER SQUARE Pad. 21, A78, along with a rich program of speeches involving Team members.

At our stand, you can learn about our services, including the Digital Factory pilot line, the Additive Manufacturing Pilot Line, and our educational offerings, consisting of courses from the Learning Hub, internal to CIM4.0, and the CIM4.0 Academy, an advanced training program designed and implemented in collaboration with the School of Master and Permanent Education of the Politecnico di Torino.
Visitors to the CIM4.0 stand will be able to understand very concretely what technology transfer means and how to do it: the results achieved by the Competence Center over the past two years together with its industrial and academic partners will be presented, supporting companies, SMEs, and startups in the development of applications, solutions, and products in line with the Transition 4.0 Plan.
At the same time, attendees can enjoy business speeches and dedicated training sessions to understand the best form of collaboration for their business needs.

Demo Area – Competence Center Square
In the demo area, you can access a series of concrete demonstrations of the virtuous applications of I4.0 technologies, fromAdditive Manufacturing, used in the design and production of metal and polymer components, todeep learningtechniques for automatic PPE recognition, up to the application ofergonomicsto optimize process efficiency.
You can explore the use ofIoT solutionsaimed at monitoring various parameters, as well asmachine learningtechniques for performance optimization,edge computinganddata collectionon cloud platforms, up tovirtual reality/augmentedapplications useful in various fields, such as plant maintenance, logistics, sales, and training for different industrial sectors.
The journey through technologies will also illustrateintelligent vehicleswith autonomous driving, robotic systems,collaborative robots, all applications useful for understanding the potential of robotic systems for various functions.
Finally, visitors will seedrones equipped with artificial intelligenceon-board for environmental monitoring or remote inspection of environments, and AR viewers with a “use case” illustrating a virtual monitoring system used for physical infrastructures.
