The Mirafiori Technology Hub in Turin, a symbolic site of Piedmontese and Italian industrial culture, was the stage for the public assembly of Turin’s industrialists, characterized by the “path of industrial innovation 4.0” promoted by the Competence Industry Manufacturing 4.0 and its consortium members. A storytelling made of images, videos, but above all an exhibition of technologically advanced products that reflect the areas and focuses in which CIM 4.0 operates to support the competitiveness of large, medium, and small enterprises and startups.
The connection point between new production challenges, process digitalization, and sustainable development with specialized and vertical skills is represented by CIM 4.0. The Competence Center, established by the Polytechnic and University of Turin, together with 23 private companies, is headquartered in Turin in the refurbished former Mirafiori plants, right next to the TNE area, and represents the strategic and operational support dedicated to manufacturing companies oriented towards the digitalization of industrial processes in the context of Industry 4.0 (from design to production, from R&D to Supply chain, from security to Blockchain).
