Course description

The technological scenario is continuously and rapidly changing: on one hand, new technologies are revolutionizing production processes by improving efficiency, quality, and safety, while on the other, they open up alternatives for the development of innovative services and businesses. Through a combination of theoretical lessons and a case study, participants will gain an understanding of technologies and applications dedicated to industry and mobility, including artificial intelligence and autonomous driving.

Main Topics

The course will present the current technological scenario, providing even those from non-technical backgrounds and studies with the foundations and keys to understanding the newest technologies. In particular, it will cover:
– Robotics applications for mobility – from terrestrial to aerial vehicles: the different categories based on applications
– Artificial intelligence: the various forms and levels, with complex applications
– Industry 5.0: the technological frontier with a focus on humans and the environment
– Autonomous mobility for last-mile and applications for large-scale distribution (GDO).
Examples will be used to illustrate the different topics and provide participants with ideas to imagine credible and sustainable market applications.
Student participants will also be offered a workshop aimed at identifying acceptable solutions for GDO clients.
