Participant profile

Professionals who wish to obtain PCN Vibration Analysis Category 1 certification for authorization to perform vibration data acquisition in accordance with ISO standards.

Objectives

  • Use portable instrumentation to perform preset routes
  • Acquire vibration data on machines with fixed sensors
  • Be able to transfer data from portable instrumentation to PC and vice versa
  • Be able to compare acquired values with set alert levels
  • Recognize spectra related to erroneous acquisitions

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to acquire and analyze vibration data on industrial machinery, identify mechanical anomalies, and set up a structured condition monitoring system—skills also necessary to obtain PCN Vibration Analysis Category 1 certification.
