Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) is a metal additive manufacturing technology based on powder fusion using a laser beam.
During the process, a thin layer of metal powder is evenly distributed over the build platform; the laser melts the areas corresponding to the component section defined by the 3D CAD model.
The process is repeated layer by layer until the part is fully completed.

Key features:
-
High dimensional accuracy.
-
Ability to create complex geometries and lattice structures not achievable with traditional technologies.
-
Wide range of metallic materials: steels, titanium alloys, aluminum, nickel alloys, cobalt-chrome.
