The CIM4.0 – Competence Center team is heading to Hannover, Germany for the 26th edition of the International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, EuroBLECH.
EuroBLECH specifically targets the sheet metal working industry, attracting an international audience ready to invest in technological excellence. As a vertical trade fair, EuroBLECH covers the entire sheet metal working chain and offers the industrial sector solutions for knowledge and technology transfer, also with a 4.0 perspective.
The partnership with SAMEC
From October 25 to 28, 2022, we will be present at the fair together with SAMEC to present a new application developed by the Competence Center and designed based on the needs identified with the company.
The project involves the study and prototyping, within the initial production process, of a solution aimed at virtualizing the sheet metal handling system under transfer press in a virtual reality environment. The objective? To promptly identify design anomalies.
Today, it is technologically possible to create VR applications that simulate mechanical assets, allowing critical analysis before a product is realized.
