The virtual event dedicated to 3D printing, an opportunity for professionals in additive manufacturing
3Dnatives, the leading international online media in the 3D printing sector, launches the first Italian virtual event dedicated to additive manufacturing. It will take place on October 10, 2023 from 09:00 to 12:30.
Conferences, workshops, and networking sessions for sharing experiences. ADDITIV Italia brings together professionals and industry players to discuss the benefits of adopting Additive Manufacturing in Industry 4.0, as well as applications, materials, challenges, and opportunities of AM in various industrial sectors.
The program
Visitors will be able to meet and talk with professionals, discover and exchange ideas on 3D printing solutions and applications. The workshops will offer the opportunity to witness concrete examples presented by experts who will share their experience in a practical and dynamic way. Finally, the conferences will provide moments of discussion and open conversation in a round table dedicated to the benefits of adopting AM technologies in Industry 4.0, the state of the art, and the latest developments in materials.
The contribution of CIM4.0
Among the event speakers will be Giulia Marchisio, Additive Manufacturing Program Manager at CIM4.0, who will participate in the round table “The benefits of adopting additive manufacturing in Industry 4.0” scheduled at 09:30.

Agenda
- 09:00 – 09:30 Opening and event presentation
- 09:30 – 10:10 Conference 1 – “The benefits of adopting additive manufacturing in Industry 4.0” Additive Manufacturing is rapidly establishing itself in various industrial sectors, optimizing and transforming processes, applications, materials… In this round table, we will host major companies from different industrial sectors that have adopted additive manufacturing in their production processes. We will explore the benefits of additive technologies and the path towards a cutting-edge Industry 4.0 ready to embrace all the potential of AM.
- 10:10 – 10:30 Workshop
- 10:30 – 11:20 Networking
- 11:20 – 12:00 Conference 2 – “Materials for additive manufacturing: challenges and opportunities” The range of 3D printing materials is constantly expanding, and although polymers, metals, and composites are the most used, today material research plays a central role. There is a growing trend towards sustainable materials, biomaterials, biocompatible materials, optimization, and recycling of existing ones… In this round table, we will explore with our experts in materials engineering and Additive Manufacturing the opportunities and challenges in the field of materials for additive manufacturing.
