CIM4.0 Achieves Its Goal
With the allocation of funds from this latest call amounting to 3 million euros, CIM 4.0 has achieved, just over a year after its foundation, an important initial goal: to allocate all resources made available by the MISE for companies, in support of strong innovation, technology transfer, and significant collaboration between large companies, micro-small and medium enterprises, and innovative startups.
The scientific and industrial evaluation of the projects also considered their innovative impact on the territories, both in terms of job creation and economic development.
This second call – explains CIM 4.0 CEO Enrico Pisino – highlighted the great innovative ferment present in our country, and we are very pleased to be able to contribute concretely and promptly to the technology transfer activities of the winning Italian companies. However, at the same time, we were forced to exclude many valid projects from funding that would have further enriched the innovation index and contributed to the economic development of the Italian territory. It is necessary and urgent to increase the funds available to meet a real need of the Italian industry, which has well understood how 4.0 can be a decisive strategic lever to react to the crisis and return to compete. As CIM 4.0, we will immediately commit to intercepting still available national and regional resources to increase the economic impact of this call and fund the other very valid selected projects.
