Born in Turin in 1966, graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Turin, married, with three children, Dario Gallina is the CEO of “Dottor Gallina s.r.l.”, a family business founded 56 years ago, with 160 employees in Italy (approximately 220 worldwide), 60 million in revenue, specializing in the production of polycarbonate systems and sheets for construction, a leader in Italy and among the major players internationally.
Within the group, which also has production units in Greece, Turkey, India, and the USA, there is an automotive division for the production of technical profiles for cars and industrial vehicles.
His involvement in associations began with the Vice Presidency of the Young Group from 2004 to 2007; since 2007, he has been President of the Plastics Category and is a member of the General Council of the Rubber and Plastics Federation and Unionplast, the national trade association.
From 2012 to 2014, he was a member of the Steering Committee of EUPC (European Plastic Converters). He was President of Piccolindustria at the Turin Union (2013/2016) and is a member of the General Council of Confindustria.
He is the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Turin.
