Born in Turin in 1953, he graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 1976. He spent 40 years at COMAU, the automation company of the Fiat Group, where he held various technical and managerial roles, including responsibility for the Welding Systems Division and the Asia Pacific geographic area. In 2017, he began collaborating with Confindustria Piemonte and Unione Industriale Torino on topics related to Innovation and Digital Transformation, managing the creation of the Digital Innovation Hub Piemonte. Since 2019, he has been collaborating with Confindustria Cuneo on Innovation topics, overseeing the development of the Master’s in Smart Manufacturing and the Professional Degree in Technologies for the Manufacturing Industry at the Mondovì campus of the Polytechnic University of Turin. He is currently collaborating with the CIM and MADE competence centers and is a member of the Scientific Committee of UCIMU, the Association of Italian Machine Tool Manufacturers.
