Stefano Firpo

From Turin, 45 years old. Economist with experience in business, banking, and public policy. Initially at the European Central Bank focusing on economic research, then at IntesaSanpaolo where he worked on the implementation of Basel regulations and supported company leadership before and after the merger between Banca Intesa and Sanpaolo IMI. Subsequently, at the Ministry of Economic Development, he served and collaborated with 5 Ministers, initially as head of the technical secretariat and for 4 years as Director General for Industrial Policy. Recently, he returned to his old passion: corporate finance.
Among his achievements: Minibonds, reform of business incentives, national law on Startups and innovative SMEs, Patent Box regime, Destination Italy Report, Finance for Growth Task Force, and National Industry 4.0 Plan.
