Its target market is mature and well-defined, with clear short- and medium-term needs.\nIn the case of this specific project - Patch Madflex\u00ae - the target market is the repair of the European gas distribution network, but CoRe does not rule out expansion into other markets. The strategy involves continuous improvement and development of its product through research and development activities and also the introduction of the product into new application areas. The company's forecast for the coming years is more than positive, indicating significant growth values for the service provided with a cross-impact. ","soluzione":"The Patch Madflex\u00ae project stems from CoRe's focus on environmental and social issues and the need to address a significant problem such as methane gas leakage along transport lines. When discussing high supply costs, one must consider why the requested supply quantity is so high. Similarly, when we hear about climate change today, we should also focus on the transport line of such an essential commodity. Significant leaks have been detected that impact economically, socially, and environmentally. The market today offers solutions with a low application range that reduce the leakage problem but increase costs and inconveniences. Patch Madflex\u00ae acts instead as a sort of patch on the pipeline damage, does not require interventions, and can be applied with maximum safety as it has no polluting chemical components. The reduced timeframes and ease of application ensure that repair costs decrease while maintaining quality and durability. The scenario in which the project is set sees various entities in the field that, according to laboratory results, do not guarantee the resolution of the critical issues. The market is also characterized by a few but large groups that hold high percentages of distribution network management, including Italgas, already a partner of CoRe. CoRe has decided to rely on the technical expertise of the Competence Center, along with collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Turin. Specifically, CoRe intends to rely on CIM4.0 for 3 different points:\n- Process validation through a series of simulations to calculate times, the number of necessary personnel, and the operational life of the machinery. Regarding the latter, CIM4.0 will evaluate the offers available on the market to identify the most suitable machinery on the market. \n- Overseeing the validation of the LCA calculation, also considering the potential engagement of an external certifying body. CoRe needs to demonstrate having a lower LCA impact compared to competitors on the market to become a B-Corp. \n- Designing the layout of a new production line applied in a clean room. The identified machinery will be placed in a plant where a dedicated space with specific requirements must be developed.\nThis is therefore a project for the design of future production.
