Company Description<\/h5>\n<p>The CIM4.0 Competence Center is the national reference hub for technology transfer and the dissemination of skills related to the manufacturing and service industries.<br \/>\nCIM is a network consisting of the Polytechnic and University of Turin together with 22 partner companies, providing the expertise of industrial leaders to companies seeking to innovate and maintain high market competitiveness.<br \/>\nCIM provides specialized services in digital enabling technologies for Manufacturing 4.0 and offers strategic and operational support for industrial development through the dissemination of services and advanced training courses for company managers.<\/p>\n<h5>2. Job Description<\/h5>\n<p>The IT Infrastructure &#038; Network Specialist will join the CIM ICT team and will primarily contribute to the design, implementation, maintenance, and evolution of network infrastructures supporting the activities of the Competence Center and projects with partner companies.<\/p>\n<p>The candidate will work on LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN architectures, and network security solutions, handling requirements analysis, technical design, equipment configuration, deployment, operational validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Additionally, they may support the management of CIM&#8217;s internal IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 services, user management, server systems, virtualization, backup, and business continuity tools. Areas of particular interest include:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise networks;<\/li>\n<li>Network security, segmentation, VPN, firewalling, and secure connectivity;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network performance;<\/li>\n<li>Integration with server infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, edge, and IT\/OT environments;<\/li>\n<li>Optional support for internal CIM IT, including Microsoft 365, user management, backup, and business continuity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>3. Main Activities<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, support for implementation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructures, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi.<\/li>\n<li>Management of network equipment, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, secure connectivity, and access policies.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of network performance, connectivity analysis, and troubleshooting of infrastructural issues.<\/li>\n<li>Support for the design of infrastructures integrated with server systems, virtualization, cloud, edge, and IT\/OT environments.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and updating of technical network documentation, architectural diagrams, and operating procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Technical coordination of suppliers and partners in the installation, release, and maintenance of network infrastructures.<\/li>\n<li>Support for the creation of demonstration laboratories, proof-of-concepts, and innovation projects requiring dedicated or experimental network infrastructures.<\/li>\n<li>Support for internal CIM IT activities, including Microsoft 365 management, user management, server systems, virtualization, backup, and business continuity tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>4. Requirements<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid technical background in networking, network infrastructure, and IT systems, acquired through specialized training, professional certifications, or equivalent field experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the design, configuration, implementation, and management of enterprise network infrastructures, with particular reference to LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and secure connectivity environments.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of major networking protocols, equipment, and technologies, including TCP\/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalling, and network segmentation.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of major network security technologies and best practices for the protection, monitoring, and hardening of network infrastructures.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced troubleshooting skills for network issues, including analysis of connectivity, performance, equipment configurations, security, and service continuity.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze operational needs and translate them into concrete and sustainable technological solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Experience or aptitude in managing technical projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and a predisposition for teamwork and relationships with clients, suppliers, and technological partners.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent proficiency with main office automation tools.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of the Italian language, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>5. Optional Requirements<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Professional certifications from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform services.<\/li>\n<li>Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing HPC infrastructure or computing clusters.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge or experience in cellular network technologies, with particular reference to 5G solutions, private 5G networks, and evolution toward 6G.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.<\/li>\n<li>Software development skills.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability assessment, and infrastructure hardening.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in designing edge computing and Industrial IoT architectures.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of OT infrastructure and industrial protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to design and conduct education, technical training, and knowledge transfer activities for companies, partners, or internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in providing specialized training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>6. Experience<\/h5>\n<p>The selection is open to profiles with different levels of seniority, including professionals with consolidated experience and technical profiles possessing the required skills. Professional experience relevant to the role, technical skills, and the level of autonomy and responsibility achieved will be evaluated. <\/p>\n<h5>8. Salary and Classification<\/h5>\n<p>Expected salary range for the position: \u20ac28,000\u2013\u20ac42,000 gross per year. Classification according to the Metalmeccanico CCNL. <\/p>\n<p>Placement within the salary range and the relative classification level will be determined based on objective and neutral criteria, including relevant professional experience, technical skills, level of autonomy, responsibility, and ability to manage complex projects.<\/p>\n<h5>9.
