{"id":8848,"date":"2022-06-16T14:48:18","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T12:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cim.eu\/the-first-cim4-0-call-for-smes-and-start-ups-has-officially-concluded\/"},"modified":"2026-01-12T11:29:24","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T10:29:24","slug":"the-first-cim4-0-call-for-smes-and-start-ups-has-officially-concluded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cim.eu\/en\/the-first-cim4-0-call-for-smes-and-start-ups-has-officially-concluded\/","title":{"rendered":"The first CIM4.0 call for SMEs and Start-Ups has officially concluded."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today, we are pleased to announce a significant milestone for our Competence Center \u2192 <strong>the FIRST CIM4.0 CALL FOR INNOVATIVE SMEs AND START-UPS has been completed with the allocation of 100% of the resources<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>A process that began in December 2019, during which <strong>CIM4.0 distinguished itself for its rigor, speed, and concreteness.<\/strong> The technical results achieved &#8211; extremely positive &#8211; are synonymous with a vibrant, dynamic industrial ecosystem that looks to the future, supported by methods and tools dedicated to Technology Transfer.<\/p>\n\n<p>The call for Technological Maturation Projects \u2013 Industry 4.0 (PMTI4.0), <strong>dedicated to SMEs and Start-Ups<\/strong>, had a financial endowment that exceeded one million euros in total.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"9723\" src=\"https:\/\/cim.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/thisisengineering-raeng-ZPeXrWxOjRQ-unsplash-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9723\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The strategic choice of the call<\/h2>\n\n<p>The strategic choice, consistent with the specific mission assigned by the MISE to the network of Competence Centers, was to support research, development, and product\/process innovation activities with a level of technological maturity closer to the market (TRL&gt;6).<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>&#8220;The function of the Competence Centers must be to strategically guide and support companies in the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies, and all this must be done promptly, at the speed of light.
