Professor Guido Boella is the Vice President of the CIM4.0 Competence Center and the Deputy Rector of the University of Turin for promoting relations with businesses and trade associations, as well as coordinating with industrial innovation initiatives in the region.
His research activities focus on artificial intelligence, legal informatics, geoinformatics, and blockchain. He has developed software such as the social network FirstLife and the blockchain wallet app Commonshood. He has participated in technology transfer projects for businesses and founded the university spin-off Nomotika.
He is the coordinator of various regional and European projects (ICT4LAW, EUCases, CANP, WeGovNow, Co-city, CO3, PININ) and the international PhD program in Law, Science and Technology LAST-JD.
