HD-MOTION is a national hub for the digital transformation of mobility, coordinated by CIM and promoted by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy through funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). The project aims to increase the competitiveness of businesses and public administrations active in the sustainable mobility and transport sector through the adoption of advanced digital technologies.
The service offered by HD-MOTION is structured around four main pillars: “Test before Invest”, to experiment with solutions such as connected and autonomous vehicles, digital twins of traffic systems, simulations, and digital infrastructures; Training and skills development in the field of smart mobility; Access to funding to support the adoption of digital solutions; and Creation of a national/European ecosystem that connects businesses, research centers, and mobility stakeholders. The key technologies it focuses on include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and high-performance computing (HPC).
