Federico Giuffrida

Born in Palermo in 1991, he began his university studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Palermo. In 2015, he moved to Turin, where he obtained his master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin.

He started his journey in the world of Additive Manufacturing (AM) with a thesis project at FCA. In 2019, he began working as a Research Fellow at the Polytechnic University of Turin, focusing his studies on L-PBF technologies, both metal and polymer. During this period, he also served as a Teaching Assistant.

In 2021, he began his experience at CIM, where he holds the position of Process Technologist for the AM line. Additionally, he is attending the second-level Master’s in Additive Manufacturing at the Polytechnic University of Turin.
