Giulia Marcocchia

Graduated in Economics from the University of Turin, and PhD in Innovation Management from Paris Saclay University – Telecom ParisTech, she is the co-scientific director of the CIM Academy.

With a solid professional background in business strategy development and design in the automotive field, Giulia teaches and conducts scientific research in systemic innovation, applying methodologies derived from design theories. She is a lecturer in Innovation Management at ENSTA and Ecole Polytechnique Paris, teaches Design Management, Design for Strategy, Transportation & Mobility for Smart Cities at Strate College of Design in Paris and Singapore. She has participated in European research projects Horizon2020, contributes to international research groups such as the PVMI (Program on Vehicle and Mobility Innovation) at Wharton, the IMD (Institut de la Mobilité Durable) of Fondation Renault and ParisTech, and the Design Practice Special Interest Group of the Design Society.
