Guido Ceresole is a professional in the field of innovation and technology, with nearly 40 years of experience gained in high-level managerial positions and in the development of international business. His career is focused on robotics, industrial automation, and packaging machinery.
Currently, he holds two strategic roles within the industrial fabric of Piedmont. Since June 2021, he has been the Head of the Digital and Innovation Area at Unione Industriali Torino, the trade association representing over 2,200 companies in the manufacturing and service sectors. In January 2022, he was also appointed as the Coordinator of the Mesap Innovation Cluster in the Piedmont Region, a vast network focused on “Smart Products and Manufacturing” composed of about 200 members, including universities, research centers, and major companies.
His professional journey began in 1986 at COMAU (FIAT Group), where he was involved in marketing for the robotics division. He then expanded his leadership at FlexLink (SKF Group), serving as Managing Director for the Italian branch, before taking on the role of Area Director for Asia Pacific and later for extended Europe.
International experience is a cornerstone of his career, having spent the last two decades working and living in France, Japan, and Southeast Asia. In 2014, he joined Sidel (linked to the Tetra Pak Group), where he managed the Asia Pacific division as Regional Vice President, overseeing the design, sale, installation, and after-sales service of automated packaging lines for the food and beverage industry. Returning to Europe in 2020, he collaborated with Synerlink (Barry Wehmiller Group), managing global sales of machinery for the dairy sector.
Complementing his professional experience, Guido Ceresole earned a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris. He is married, the father of three daughters, and is fluent in English and French.
