Ilenia Giampiccolo

Born in Syracuse in 1997, Ilenia Giampiccolo obtained her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies from the University of Turin in 2020, followed by a master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry in 2023.

In 2024, she undertook a research fellowship in collaboration between the Department of Metallurgy at the University of Turin and CIM, focusing on the study of surface treatments to improve the quality of components produced through Additive Manufacturing, with particular attention to L-PBF technology.

Currently, she works as an Additive Manufacturing Quality Specialist at the Additive Manufacturing line of CIM. She also participated in the VI Edition of the CIM Academy, a program that allowed her to deepen her expertise in innovation and technologies related to Industry 4.0 and 5.0.
