From February 14 to 16, 2024, CIM4.0 will be present at the 18th edition of A&T Automation & Testing at the Oval Lingotto Fiere in Turin, the innovation fair dedicated to 4.0 and 5.0 technologies.
There are many interesting new developments in this edition that see the Competence Center prominently involved. In particular, this year we have launched an important project dedicated to Artificial Intelligence for the manufacturing sector that promotes significant opportunities for businesses: the “House of Artificial Intelligence“.
The House of Artificial Intelligence
An initiative carried out in collaboration with the A&T fair, 15 major industrial players, national innovation stakeholders, and with the support of the Piedmont Region and the Chamber of Commerce of Turin to achieve a common goal: to effectively support the digital transformation of the Italian industrial ecosystem.
The House of Artificial Intelligence is a 1,000 sqm area hosting applications, demonstrators, and professionals already using this technology. Next to the exhibition space are the networking area and the workshop area where visitors can attend thematic speeches and talks to explore the active opportunities supporting them in AI.

– Explore upskilling and reskilling opportunities of the Learning Hub and the CIM4.0 Academy;
– Meet the teams of Additive Manufacturing and Digital Factory to learn about the tools supporting the innovation journey of businesses;
– Discover the dedicated services of the Innovation & Venture Lab;
– Experience firsthand the applications of virtual reality. A technology that facilitates design and validation processes of components in the automotive and aerospace sectors, allowing you to visualize any object in its components in a 3D view. Just wear a headset to find yourself in the International Space Station or in a futuristic square.

Inaugural event: inauguration of the House of Artificial Intelligence and conference “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR INDUSTRY: SCENARIOS AND GUIDELINES FOR MADE IN ITALY COMPANIES”
CIM4.0 will present a study on Artificial Intelligence designed to provide theoretical and practical tools to Italian Small and Medium Enterprises to approach this “disruptive” technology. Starting with framing the context in which the technology fits, the use cases of AI in the manufacturing field, the prerequisites and challenges that this technology entails, and the limits and risks it carries are explored. In closing, a snapshot of virtuous implementation cases is offered to give the reader the opportunity to “learn by observing” the best practices. In the second part of the morning, the debate on the topic will open with the actors on the Artificial Intelligence scene.

Enrico Pisino, among the speakers at the round table, will highlight the role of the Competence Center as a promoter of skill transmission on enabling technologies for Industry 4.0, of which additive manufacturing is an integral part.
