The third episode of CIM Innovation Talent takes the finalists into the heart of additive manufacturing. After tackling the challenge of automation, the five young talents prepare to explore the world of Additive Manufacturing, the technology that is changing the way we design and produce.
Guided by judges Enrico Pisino and Eleonora Marino, the contestants face a day filled with training and practical tests, supported by expert Antonio De Francesco and Giulia Marchisio, Program Manager of Additive Manufacturing at CIM, who introduce them to the principles and applications of 3D printing.
After the theoretical test in the morning, the challenge heats up: the finalists must recognize technologies and materials used in real objects and, in the final test, propose the most effective solution for 3D printing the award for the National Cinema Museum of Turin: the Stella della Mole.
Completing the jury is a special guest: Luca Iuliano, President of CIM and Full Professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin, an international expert in Additive Manufacturing.
Observation, logic, and strategic vision become decisive weapons. Only those who can combine technical knowledge, precision, and creativity will come close to the title of CIM Innovation Talent.
