TUC Ltd was established with the goal of introducing a new technology (TUC) to the market, capable of digitalizing and continuously reconfiguring the mobility experience within vehicles, making them intelligent and multimodal. This new TUC technology is also capable of rationalizing and simplifying the entire internal electronic system of vehicles.
The TUC is a multi-modal plug, a digital/structural interface that can be implemented during the design or restyling phase in the chassis of major transport vehicles. It is conceived both as a structural anchoring point, where various elements constituting the internal vehicle experience can be securely attached, and as a system of digital Hub & Switches for data exchange and processing among connected devices. The entire system is managed by the TUC Brain, a unique control unit connected to the user’s personal devices, allowing the internal vehicle experience to be managed and configured directly from a smartphone.
TUC aims to address the needs related to the changing concept of mobility in society, which vehicle manufacturers will need to respond to. The mobility paradigm is indeed shifting from a product concept to a service-centric approach. This type of change requires a completely new, modular, digitalized, and connected technological infrastructure, as proposed by TUC.
