The fifth day of the CIM Innovation Talent tests the rigor and organizational skills of the finalists with a challenge dedicated to industrial efficiency. After exploring automation, additive technologies, and artificial intelligence, the five talents engage with the principles of World Class Manufacturing and Lean Thinking, the methodologies that have transformed production worldwide.
Guided by experts Davide Menghini and Sebastiano Lamacchia, the contestants move from theory to practice: they must assemble a skateboard in the shortest possible time, applying continuous improvement logic, waste reduction, and workstation optimization.
Their performances are evaluated by judges Enrico Pisino and Eleonora Marino, joined by the third judge Gian Luca Bottino, an expert in lean processes and industrial optimization.
A test that demonstrates how efficiency is not just a matter of speed, but the result of method, precision, and planning.
